For Jermaine Carlos Diaz, known professionally as Young Lace, custom vehicles have always been part of a larger visual language. Power Outage, his custom Harley-Davidson, reflects that same approach: luxury influence, strong identity, and details that carry personal meaning.

The motorcycle was first built by another shop, but Diaz was dissatisfied with the result. Rather than settle for a version that did not match the vision, he chose to rebuild it. The bike was sent to Curly’s Inc. in Burns, Indiana, where it was reworked into the machine now known to many followers as “Young Lace’s bike.”

The design language

Power Outage is finished in a pearl white colorway with copper and rose-gold metalwork throughout the build. The front wheel, forks, audio speaker accents, trim pieces, and engine accessories work together to give the bike a polished, jewelry-like appearance.

It also carries symbolic touches. The MTB lettering references Money To Blow Music Group. Additional details pay tribute to Rolls-Royce, while other trim cues reflect the kind of luxury design language that has long been part of Young Lace’s automotive taste.

Recognition on the show circuit

The motorcycle’s story did not stop at the rebuild. Power Outage went on to circulate in the custom-bike world and is shown here with multiple trophies and show recognitions. One of the clearest documented awards in the supplied photo set is Best Custom Motorcycle from the Rick Ross Promised Land Car & Bike Show, dated May 21, 2022, in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Another supplied photo shows the bike displayed with additional trophies at Curly’s Inc., underlining the broader show history that helped make the build part of Young Lace’s public identity.
